Professional Biography
My name is Rob McConnell and my company is ATX Solutions. I have worked in the IT field in the Treasure Valley since 1993, getting my start at a local computer repair shop 15 years ago as a back room tech. I stayed at there for 9 years helping them grow into one of Boise’s top networking IT shops. Then I spent 5 years with Idaho Auto Auction as the IT Director, moving them from an old DB2 system to a multi server SQL based solution. Then back to my original shop for six months, just long enough to realize that I was ready to run my own business where I could give my clients the personal attention they deserve at a price that they can afford.
Born and raised in Boise, I am a graduate of Capital High School and spent 4 years in the Marine Corp during the Gulf War before attending Boise State.
